Heidi Kong, MD, MHSc

Dr. Kong is an Investigator in the Dermatology Branch at the NIH. She received her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Stanford University and earned her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at Duke University Medical Center and clinical research fellowship training in the Dermatology Branch, NCI and the Duke-NIH Masters Program in Clinical Research. Dr. Kong’s research on the human microbiome focuses on understanding host-microbial relationships, particularly of human skin.
