Kimberly Capone, PhD

Kimberly Capone, Ph.D. is a Research Associate Director & Fellow with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. in Skillman, NJ where she leads the Consumer Microbiome Program focused on identifying new insights from the human microbiome to drive innovation across the Consumer business.  Dr. Capone received her B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.  Dr. Capone’s recent work has been focused on the human skin microbiome in health and disease, particularly early in life and in individuals with sensitive or inflamed skin.  Dr. Capone has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and presented posters and invited talks at many national and international dermatology and pediatric conferences.
